Adsense Payment Schedule.

My first google check is due, and im eagerly waiting for it to arrive.

I reached my limit at the end of November, and from what i understand, they send the check before the end of the next month (this month)

I have chosen the courier option so it should arrive soonish i hope.
I question to regular adsense earners recieveing there checks from a courier.

When would you think my check is going to arrive? before the end of December? Middle of Jan? Just need to put my mind at ease to avoid getting excited every time i see a courier van. I also have need to buy things, of coarse.

It will be the end of the month at the earliest. Since you live in South Africa, it might be early January. I wouldn't expect it before late next week. I don't even get direct deposit until almost the last day of the month.

If you are outside the US, and don't choose to pay an extra quicker
delivery, it can take 2-4 weeks. I see payments made normally the last week
of the month. Just keep checking your account and figure at least 2 weeks from
the date to get a check in the mail.

If you are checking for a courier because you paid, then it will take 5-10
business days. I would not see any reason to pay extra. There are some
countries where the mail is not trusted and this is the default, no charge.

Didn't you read all this when you chose your payment method?

Outside the USA can indeed take 3-4 weeks for regular mail, sometimes even 4-5 weeks especially during this time of the year. So getting your check delivered by courier service was smart. I had to cancel my last check and request a reissue since it should have arrived since early November and of as December 3, 2010 it was still MIA. I may consider courier service for January 2011 too.

Yes I think mail is slow this time of year. I'm in Australia and usually receive checks from US within a week or so, but could be different this time of year.
