Default Autoblogging to Simulate Activity...

Hello

I have WPRobot and honestly I dont find it too special. It doesn't spin the articles (with TheBestSpinner.com) as they claim. But anyway, I just leave it post 1 new post each day. It pulls an article from an article place.

Is ti ok to just leave this on my site to get some "Activty" to feed the google gods? Or -- since its not unique -- is that bad?

I am just too occupied with other things to post all the time.

(PS No, I do not have 50,000 sites with autoblogs. I go deep, not wide.)

It depends on how it pulls the article. If it's done using some type of feed
via a script, that's not new activity.

Try for 1 post a week. If that's not doable, ask for a guest blogger.
Your posts don't have to be War and Peace.

You can find articles on article sites and publish them manually.

Wanna know another neat trick? Don't pass this around too much.
Sometimes I will recycle a blog post. Find a really old post, copy it,
post it, then delete the old one. 'Course that only works if you have
been blogging manually for a long time. And custom 404 page. I'm not
really looking to get anymore juice from the old post anyway.

It shouldnt be spinning articles from article directories...if it were, I wouldnt advise doing that. When you use articles from directories you want to make sure they are well written, related to the subject your site is about and left as is (dont rewrite them)...and always leave the link to the original author.

It's not "bad" to post articles from directories to your blog as long as the above advice is followed. If you're worried about the duplicate content issue that most seem worried about then don't...it doesn't apply with this situation unless you are posting the same article to the same site more than once.

Good luck!
