Hey guys, My biggest annoyance is choosing a URL structure when creating a new site/blog with WordPress. I used to build sites that placed huge importance on site structure that didn't go more than 4 levels deep. For example Home Page - Target keyword Category - Broad to mid tail keyword Sub-Category - Mid tail keyword Landing Page - Long tail keyword URL structure - domain.com/category/subcat/landing-page So the silo style site really, I used to think this worked, but now I don't think it matters at all. So the main question is, does anyone use this kind of site structure and what is their URL structure like or don't you care? Thanks, Andrew |

That's what made me think it didn't work really anymore, I mean if you look at Matt Cutts, SEO Moz etc their URL structure is domain.com/blog/post and these still rank very high for certain keywords. I feel as though I may be thinking about the structure thing too much |
