I agree with you that CPM based advertisement is one of the fastest ways to generate traffic .

But , make sure that the CPM advertising solution have targeting options to get the most .

Both traffic generation methods that you mention can bring you targeted traffic .

But , interns of speed of result PPC stands above the rest , especially Google adwords .

I agree with your post, the ways you mentioned in getting fast traffic is real good. But, for PPC we’ve to incur a lot in it. Instead if we build relative back links through some of the seo tactics such as social book marking, directories, articles etc would fetch us economically.

I agree with if you post unique article regularly you will have more chances of getting traffic . This actually belongs to blogs .

Make sure if you comment on blogs you search for do follow blogs, otherwise the search engines will ignore your 1 way links. Ping services like feedping (dot) com are also very good for fast promotion when you make content changes to your site or blog.

PPC is not suitable if you are total beginner . You need some time to study and master it .

But , the best thing about PPC is it is highly targeted and can bring you lots of traffic and cash .

I also like programs like listjoe.com. (Although the amount of stuff you get is a bit overwhelming). It's not huge but I get around 45 visitors when they send out my email. If you do it, I'd sign up for the gold package rather than trying to earn points by opening the emails they send you.

But I disagree that PPC isn't right for the newbie. If you have a local market campaign you can start to learn with a very small budget. I've had clients in niche markets do real well with a $300 per month investment.

I mainly use ppc and ezine articles as well as facebook.

I developed my own software tool for ppc adwords to drive a ton of traffic to CPA offers. This generates combinations of keyords from a single keyword. It generates all possible combinations. The idea is taken from peoples behaviour while they do search. Anyway, a couple of days ago, I was on a webinar with Gauher Chaudry and he talked about this exact technique that he also uses. I was very pleased. Because it does work and you can generate keywords that cost as less as 5cents!

Find a keyword phrase and plug into google search engine. If the optimised results (quoted) is less than 5000, then create a squidoo lens with 500 words of 3% keyword density. Your lens should appear on the 1st page of google and you can get tons of traffic.

Using the same method, I get tons of traffic by posting videos to youtube site

But , most of them have un-targeted traffic .

I'll third that for Google images. name your image file well, and use the title and alt tags in the image, and Google Images will love you. Not 100% sure how high quality the traffic is, but I've used it a lot with good results.
