Default How Many Linkwheels???

How many link wheels do I need to build for my main site???

If I build 1 with 5 spokes is this enough???

Then just add fresh content to the spoke sites every so often???

Not sure how it all works

I don't think you really need a linkwheel. Just lots of backlinks. Lots and lots of backlinks. The more authority backlinks you have, the better. And don't let people tell you that you will get into trouble by building too many. I've added thousands in one day.

Ditto. I just saw a video the other day from Matt Cutts where he verified that "too many links" is not a negative criteria.

Agree - no need to use a link wheel. Focus on LOTS of links, of all types.

im trying link wheels also. been hearing alot of good things about them so might aswell give it a try right. i suggest you do. i made a 6 spoke linkwheel yesterday for one of my sites. different content on each property and you only need to do them once and add the links then you dont have to go back to it. unless your modifying your wheel. you can pm me if you need help or have a question. not a expert but i know some stuff lol

Link wheels can be effective if executed correctly, but as a strategy to promote sustainable long term, you need to think more with the same seed in a given area or set of fields, which leaves a trace and usually after X amount on incoming links on the site site BA, these compounds effectively decrease the flow passage link or a quote. The obvious advantage to apply tactics to flush Round Robbin and repeat content syndication and reverberation through a random string of social media, web video, news and RSS aggregators is anchored in a second modality, which is Just as important as SEO - Traffic Building and click on commitment.

Don't use link wheels just for 1 site! They are only of use if you know what you are doing and you are wanting to promote lots of sites - then it is possibly worth it. I would recommend you concentrate on article marketing +/- with spinning of articles plus profile links would be my advice.

Forget linkwheels, build links. Linkwheels simply do not have an impact anymore, so why bother creating footprints?

I made it work with as little as 1 link wheel. It depends on the keywords you're going after. On the flip side, too many link wheels could wipe out every linked if you cover too much surface area and create a pattern.

That's pretty impressive... how many properties (spokes) do you use for each wheel?

you don't just create a blog, you also need to promote the blog(linkwheel)for stronger backlins...

I think that would be enough. Link wheel can help in promoting your site because it provides permanent backlinks, but don't just focus on link wheel there are lots of strategies to be use.

My theory is this: Google can not get my link with the same account from the link I random (easy to do). In addition, pushing new content on the same Google Account to see my blog is not a one shot and I'll rank as new content continues to build in the blog, I would use each account for wheels more than 6 links as I need to diversify the ban hammer pack.
