I the following email from AdSense.

You've been issued a payment from Google AdSense

Wow, it is about time. I can't wait. This is my first payment from them. It is like Christmas again this year. I won't get it till next year probably. But who knows, they aren't located all that far from me.

Everybody must have gotten those emails. I wonder why they are sending them out.
Actually, got paid last week as I have direct deposit, so I was a little miffed by the email.

I think it's the first time I've actually received that email even though they have been paying into my bank account for months.....I thought it was a scam email at first...

Congrats! The first cheque is always the best one. It tells you that bigger things are possible. I got my first one just over a year ago now. Now, I can pretty much rely on $350+ every month. Keep going and your numbers will get bigger.

Yea its funny i have been receiving checks from them for over 4 years and this is the first email i ever got saying i received payment. Actually got paid on the 23rd which was a surprise usually its late this time of the year

Agreed. I got paid on the 23rd, which was the earliest it's been in all of the last 5 months for me... and the first email notification as well. As someone else stated, I thought it was a scam email at first glance. Kind of a nice extra. I hope they keep it up.

Congrats. This is my first post and my first month ever being paid too. My first sites were monetized at the beginning of November. I let them mature a month or so before adding the adsense code. Hopefully we can both keep building.

I got the email too and i am outside the US, i still havent got paid and it still shows payment in progress.....my payment mode is western union. Anybody know why?

Congrats, the first payment is always the best as you get to see all your hard work paying off. Strange why they are just sending emails now, I've received many payments form adsense and have never received an email.

Congrats! I opened the thread with dread, thinking of another type of email you might have got, lol!

Funny thing is, I'm outside of the US and I already got the check in the mail today. I usually get it next month on the 9th or so.
