When carrying out keyword research, how does one find out how many backlinks their competitors have in a niche? Is there a code one has to put into google? |

There are so many tools in backlink counting the only thing that you can depend on is what is the most appropriate and effective among them so you must try and prove it to yourself.

The number of backlinks your competitors have is less important than where they are and with what anchor text. I've ranked sites with 200 good anchor text backlinks above sites with 20,000 that just have the domain name. I've personally used LinkDiagnosis to find out what anchor text competitors use and where they are.

If you want to check banklink only for google that type link:domain and if you want to check backlink overall than go to backlink watch and many other tools are available in google.
