Default Anyone hve documented evidence of nofollow link bebefits?

I was just glancing through a list of auto approve blogs that's geared for comment robots, I have to wonder if people making hundreds of nofollow comments see Any benefit?

There is at least some benefit in having nofollow in your link mix, making it look more like a natural.

Some articles in the list had 6000 comments, though more typically the spammed blogs have 75-1200 comments per article.

An aside: I cheched the the backlinkd to a link building service, they had some 5000 links to their main page but no pr. (I suspect the nature of theit business didn't help their ranking)

One SEO expert who has a proven track record, is convinced that nofollow links are beneficial.

Regardless of whether they are or not, having only dofollow links to your site isn't natural as you say.

This has been a debated topic lately.
No one really knows but:
No-follow links are part of a natural backlink network.
Google can use any factor it wants in its algorithm.
If Google finds a way to improve their results using no-follow links in some way, shape or form; they will.

All that being said, IMO, if you are building a quality site and promoting it the right way, the no-follows will take care of themselves. If you are looking to build a crappy website and want short term results, I would ignore no-follows.

There is actual benefits in those links. If you only build dofollow links that's very unnatural and your site could be penalized

Yes, no follow links do something. They just aren't as powerful as standard links.

OK, it seems like I make this post every month or so, but this is my opinion, no matter what Matt Putz......umm I mean Cutts from Google has to say, ......I think in fact he agrees with me on this one.

The "dofollow" attribute ONLY relates to the passage of PageRank
PageRank is archaic and meaningless...
'Nofollow' links are just as good as "dofollow" the only difference is they don't pass pagerank..........thats it.

Flame away if you want, but I tested it.

Got a site to #1, in a micro niche, yes, but nevertheless, position 1 on page 1 with only "nofollow" blog comment links.

Go ahead rip me a new one, I know its coming

Peace

Very true, whether you think like I do, that dofollow is meaningless, or not. Linking should "look" natural........

Of course who is defining "natural"?
