Please don't lie about SEO, it takes only few seconds to know the truth

Hello warriors,

I have come across few people who needed my help regarding SEO. While we were discussing, they lied that they have been optimizing the websites to get better in searches. I asked them the link and they gave it to me. But when I checked the link, obviously SEO was not done to the website as there was no sign of SEO techniques.

So please guys, don't lie about SEO. Its quite easy to know if your website is optimized or not

yes its true. just an overview and checking the links with the site is enough and it will take not more than 15 minutes! but i don't understand that why they lied?

Checking out sites they work on is the gold standard as to whether people know
what they are talking about.

But the proof of the SEO is in the SERP. If a site is high in SERPs for their chosen
keyword AND the keyword has value to real people doing real searches,
chances are they have been doing something. What looks like junk to you and me
may actually be treasure.

Most of us have some SEO secrets. I have given some away, but sure people just
gloss over them. Sometimes you cannot figure out what has been done. I think that's
why people get frustrated when they can't over take a site, because they just know
they are doing the things on the list.

So they lied because they didn't know what they were doing (seo)?

Maybe they didnt lie, maybe they thought what they did was right. It may depend on where they learned how to do it.
If you've never done it before, you may not know for sure if you've done something right until someone experienced tells you...

Is there somewhere you can get a site checked for SEO?

I am learning too and I think I did it correctly but getting some reassurance would be nice.

Maybe, they just don't understand what is SEO all about..

All its features and specifications in different fields like Affiliate Marketing, Back liNKs, Website Optimization, Social Bookmarking, and many other more.
