Kontera Optimisation Help

Hi Everyone,

I implemented Kontera on the blog in my signature about 3 weeks ago using their Wordpress plugin. Ever since I implemented it the Kontera links only seem to be showing as 1 of 2 things:
- A link to kdirectorydotcodotuk.
- An infodotcom search box.

My understanding is that when fully optimised Kontera displays relevant product adverts (like Google Adsense does) so the above is too generic and not the correct behaviour.

I have contacted Kontera support twice regarding this issue. The first time they said they had adjusted some settings on my accounts so more relevant ads would show. I never noticed any changes on my end so got back in touch with them and am awaiting their second reply.

Anyway, I thought whilst I await their reply I would share this issue with the forum to see if anyone has had similar issues with Kontera and if so what they did to resolve them. Is there anything I can do on my end to make more relevant adverts show?

I've used Kontera on a throw away website in the past and everything seemed to work as promised. I was getting considerably less $ per click than using Adsense, however, so I decided to remove it from my website.

many people say kontera isnt good. but all info you want to know about it u can get from their site.

Yes at the moment the CPC is very low. However, I would like to trial it with proper adverts to see whether this improves or not.

I have checked the Kontera Knowledgebase but I cannot find any information on this problem.

Any additional help would be much appreciated. Is there anyway to optimise my Kontera adverts so that links to actual products show?

Good thing to post these links, I have many concern that I want to clear about kontera and I would like to directly ask the community about my concerns. Thanks.
