Traffic Travis says my PR is 0... Competitors are high

I have a domain that is similar to that of my keyword. My current page position is # 16. I ran a comparison on Traffic Travis and most of my competitors are within the PR 3-6. My PR states 0. This looks like the only main thing that's holding me down.

I've optimized the sh**t out of my site and traffic travis rates it as an A+, I've got backlinks, press releases, linkwheels, etc...

The only thing I dont have that looks like may be useful is (1) A PR, (2) Yahoo direction submission (which doesnt make sense to me, but 9 out of the top 10 have this.

Are you wanting to know how to rank higher/ what else you need to do?

PR is probably not the only thing holding you down. You don't really know a lot about
what the authority of the sites above you are. Chances are, you rank #1
for some long tail keyword.

The fact that you are PR 0 is better than PR n/a and that puts you in the
running. You need to just keep doing things that matter.

Study what your competitors have a little closer and then go get whatever it is they have.

If they all have that paid yahoo listing, you probably should too.

How long you are working on your site? You have to wait until next Google's page rank update.

What did Traffic Travis say the competition rating is?

It should give you a 1-5 star rating. If it's 4 or 5 stars you will easily get it through the stuff you are already doing (linking, on page SEO optimization).

You just need to have better on page SEO ranking, more links and you'll get there. It just takes time for google to recalculate and figure this stuff out.
