I created 2 WordPress blogs 3 years back and set them up with Google Adsense. Since then I created 2 full web sites to sell products. Unfortunately, my job obligations and the demands of the websites took up so much of my time and resources I really had no opportunity to pay attention to the blogs. Consequently, I was unable to keep fresh content on the blogs. I was successful in getting the blogs organized in terms of traffic through Directory Maximizer. Recently, I got a notice from Google indicating my Adsense Account for both blogs had been canceled, primarily - I believe - because of the lack of fresh content. I lost the Adsense accounts... and now, curiously, traffic is picking up as comments on the blogs content (mostly positive interestingly) are pouring in for my approval. I would like to know if there are any other options or avenues for small funding via advertising like Google's offer via Adsense. I know about the Amazon affiliate program. |

If you had 2 adsense accounts, that would pretty mcuh do it right there. Ther is no rule about having fresh content on your sites. is it nice, sure. Will anyone cancel your adsense account because you didn't psot on your blog, I really doubt it. But if you had 2 different adsense accounts, that could do it. |

The problem is mostly like that you had multiple accounts, a definite no-no. | |

Hello, Maybe I should have posted this strange Google email earlier but here it is below. I am still in process of trying to decipher this situation: Hello, After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we've found it necessary to disable your AdSense account. Your outstanding balance and Google's share of the revenue will both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers. Please understand that we need to take such steps to maintain the effectiveness of Google's advertising system, particularly the advertiser-publisher relationship. We understand the inconvenience that this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. |

Yes, it's NOTHING to do with your content. Ask anyone around here, we've all got ancient web properties kicking around that we haven't touched for years - I know I have - and there is no problem putting Adsense on them, no earthly reason why there should be. This has something to do with dodgy activity of some description that contravenes their TOS - most commonly click fraud from what I have heard. I find 1850 instances around the web of people who have received this exact email: "After reviewing our records, we've determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we've found it nece - you can have a look and see what might be the problem. But two accounts, yes, that might do it. |

I've had some success with adbrite and infolinks. But there's nothing like adsense.
