Default Switching Hosting Effect on Ranking?

I'm unhappy with Bluehost for a number of reasons, and I was considering switching over to Hostgator.

I'm a little worried about this affecting my Google ranking. Has anyone switched hosting, and has this had any negative effect?

Default Re: Switching Hosting Effect on Ranking?

I did exactly the same thing with one of my sites this month. I'm gradually switching everything from Bluehost to HostGator. I'm happy to report that it's had no negative impact on my Google position, and, in fact, my visitor count has almost doubled from October and November figures.
