Been using traffic travis for a while now and whilst it is pretty good the results seem to be becoming more and more inconsistent and it is p***ing me off a bit. Any suggestions for a more reliable bit of software? |

I'm using Traffic Travis quite a bit to check the competition's strength (while disregarding the text-advice), could you tell me what inconsistencies you have found? Also, I would recommend Market Samurai or Micro Niche Finder, but I recon you've heard of those tools already. Cheers, Collatio |

Hey Collatio, Traffic Travis seems to be telling me that keywords which I consider on the easy side to rank for are very difficult. (Based on PR and Backlinks). When I have a look at the competition it seems nothing special to put it that way yet Traffic Travis insists it is difficult. For other sites it says Relatively Easy when it is clearly very difficult! Yeah I have seen MS and MNF and will give them a test this evening. Hope this helped. |

Hey Jacob Joseph, That's what I thought. What I would recommend is that you keep using Traffic Travis but disregard the advice it gives you. Just look at the result of the top 10/20 and look at the results. Then base your own judgement on that instead of taking Traffic Travis's advice. Cheers, Collatio |

Yeah I have a set criteria that I use for determining competition and such but I suspect that Traffic Travis isn't giving me totally accurate information but I guess it is close enough and has worked okay so far |

I would go with Micro Niche Finder, read a lot of good reviews on google.

The tuturials are good but the main attraction for me was the software for which I'd have gladly paid a great deal more. At $37 for the whole product, it's a bargain. It gives you very useful information for targeted keywords for which you can rank highly. I love it. I also have Traffic Travis (paid version) so it compares very well with that. Market Samurai is almost three times as expensive at the current discounted price of $97 (don't know if this is still on offer - usual price $149) but unlike MMM software which is very user-friendly (even for a newbie), MS will require you to spend some time on it before you get the results that you are seeking. I've used all the above. Hope this helps. James | |

Have to go with Market Samurai, Its true it does take a while to get the feel of it. Watch the training videos at the samurai dojo, this will give you an idea of its various functions. I still think its possible to download a trial version. If you do not want to pay for it after the trial period , it still allows you to use the keyword function.
