Effectiveness of Blastbank?

I was wondering if anyone has had any success with Blastbank. From what I've read these are profile links... but how can you get these indexed?

I keep reading to do RSS submissions to get them indexed but haven't really found any good explanation of how to do RSS submissions. Do you just throw all the links in to an RSS feed and submit them, or is there something else to it?

I have done a few profile links before and used Ping Device to ping them but haven't seen any results...
