but in regular terms could you explain backlinks to me! i cant wrap my head around the concept and i also want to know if you could use email submits with backlinks!? PLEASE EXPLAIN

In simple terms backlinks are when there's a link to your page on someone else's page pointing back to you.

The link text is the text used to show the link. Most of the times it's "Click Here!" which does nothing really, especially for SEO purposes.

Ok. Backlinks are simply links that point back to your site from other sites. There are backlinks that are just your domain name. There are backlinks that are done with anchor text. Anchor text is when you take one of your best keywords, highlight it, and give it a link to your site. You do that in the site where you are posting your link.

A backlink can come from a site directory, an article directory in one of your articles, on someone else's site, on forums, on social sites, etc.

You want different qualities of back links. In other words: a bunch from PR1-3 sites, a bunch from PR4-5 sites and if possible, some from higher PR sites.

Is that what you need to know?

If you have an anchor text backlink that means that teh word you click on to get to your page from that other page is some word that gpes with the subject of your page.

like if you have a page about how to make sausage and a link on another page has the words "how to make sausage" clickabale and they go to your site. That is a backlink.

What you want are links that go to a page on your site, not somebody's email submit form from anoither website, even if you are framing that.

Put up a page on your site that talks about your email submit form, how good the reward is that you get with the email submit, an article about something that has to do with the subject of your email submit, and then get backlinks to that page on your website.

Let me explain it with an example

Google is the largest search engine in the world

Now google is getting a backlink from warrior forum because of that link from here to google.

The word largest search engine is called the anchor text because it is hyper linked to google

If you can get a backlink from a relevant quality site that is related to your niche with proper anchor text that is the best.

So google has literally hundreds of measurements to decide on the quality of links to your site. Your job is to make sure you can find ways to:
1. Understand what makes a quality link
2. Get more quality links

Beware of getting too much junk, especially automated systems.

Commenting on blogs is a great way to get some backlinks as they allow you to put in your website when you comment
