My information product website has only a small percentage of visitors from Australia (less than 5%) however the conversion rate has been as much as 2% in certain months? What strategies would you recommend to increase traffic specifically from Australia? The majority of traffic currently comes from Google Australia but I am thinking of PR, trying to get links from Australian relevant websites etc. Any suggestions appreciated. |

Sounds like a good idea actually. You have to make sure your rankings on the Australian search-engines are high enough to receive traffic. Reset all of your browser settings and then go to Google Australia to find out. Another thing that can get you a lot of traffic from Australia is writing for Australian blogs and/or participating on Australian forums with quality content/comments. |

You could try ppc, look for forums and blogs that are from Australia, also search for directories in Australia where you can submit your blog or site.

I have several websites ranked highly in Australian google, and have made a bunch of money from those rankings as Australians seem to have no problem spending money and paying $40 for shipping if need be the truth, though, is that I literally have no idea how I got ranked in AU google. I have 9 sites in the niche, 3 have high Au rankings, the others have none. So my only advice is to build a $hitload of sites in the same niche, works like a charm. Kind of like throwing $hit at the wall, somethings gonna stick |
