Is it hard to rank with this theme?

Hello,

I usually use thesis theme and I usually add 1000+ word to homepage. However, I found a "responsive" theme that I would like to use: http://wpgold.net/wp-content/uploads...sive-Theme.jpg

However, I dont know is worth trying? i mean the homepage has so less content that I think its pretty hard to rank? Or what you guys think?

    Theme choice doesn't really have any impact on rankings.

    Just add some decent content to the homepage and you'll be laughing.

    I think this one is a good theme. But for me, choice of theme only affects about .5% of your websites ranking in the search engines.

      I agree with this. In fact, I saw the title of this thread and was compelled to come in and say something similar. So long as you have your on-page SEO fleshed out, you shouldn't have a problem ranking.

      Of course, then there's off-page...
