Default fire fox add-on seo quake/virus

has anyone else experienced getting a virus from the seo quake extension for fire fox? every single time i download it i get malware reports from my anti-virus program so i only use it when i'm doing research on a new site than i uninstall it afterwards, but i would like to keep it.

Maybe it is working in away that your anti-virus is set up to recognise as malware but in fact is just the way that SEO Quake works and won't do you any harm. Don't quote me on that though!!

What anti-virus are you using?
