Would posting on this "ghost" forum help my rankings for keywords?

I've discovered a forum that seems to not be moderated.

Lots of people on there post ads, links to keywords, etc.

here it is: sexyforum.org

At one point in time I came across some software that gave a rating to links, and amazingly they gave my links from that site a good rating...

Can you take a quick look at the above site, and let me know if you think if I put links on that site, will they be worth much?

or am i wasting my time or possibly hurting my rankings?

I think you somewhat answered your own question with respect to quality. If anyone can easily add a link there and lots of people are doing it, it would be hard to say that these links would have a high value.
