Whats the correct way to import a large list of keywords in Market Samurai to find the competition for them, I've tried pasting them and Market Samurai just hangs. |

In the past I've copy and pasted them in.....but MS doesnt like large numbers. I used to paste no more than 50 or so at the time into the Add keyword box..... time consuming but it worked. Hope that helps. Chris | |

I figured it out down at the bottom in the keyword module there's a import option that did it. |

hey, I just purchased market samurai today myself: to resolve the problem that you're talking about: 1. when you have an ad words account that is capable of returning more than 100 results do this: here is what you do: log into your Google ad words account and do your customary keyword research which should return more than 100 results. Download all those results into a CSV file locate the file wherever you saved it Go into the file and simply copy the column that contains only the keywords and "no other data" simply hightlight the column with the keywords and copy that column only, disregard all the CPC and search data that google put in your excel file. Then what you do is paste all those keywords into a text file, meaning .txt file like notepad and save that somewhere on your computer so that you can locate it. Go into market samurai and at the bottom of the keyword research module you should see a button in the lower right-hand corner that says import, click that And when it pulls up a screen to search for a file to import Simply find that text file that you saved and import that file. Works like a charm, just remember don't import the Excel file. Market samurai seems to not like that format Hope that helps. I think this is a great workaround at the moment many keyword tools including micro niche Finder seems to be having a lot of trouble returning results lately due to Google requiring an ad words account for extensive keyword research. Thats a lil help for everyone, thought id give a detailed answer! |
