If even Profile linkers are BUYING links then whats the average Joe to do? Give Up?

I've been noticing a trend recently. I see more and more search results where profile backlink sellers and proponents of profile links are actually using BOUGHT links to rank their sites.

Let me say straight up before theres any misunderstanding.

I have absolutely NO ISSUE with buying links. I would too if I felt I needed to (haven't had to yet but I do consider it).

But what does that really mean to people who don't have the cash to buy backlinks either from a network setup for that or buying aged domains that have PR? To really make a difference you have to have at least a little coin to buy links or even domains that you can use the PR.

These search results I am talking about are the niches that backlink sellers used to list as proof that backlinks work and now well ...... If sites ranking in those niches don't rank using profile backlinks anymore then why should anyone rely mainly on those kind of links?


Isn't this an admission that profile backlinks are not enough if even in backlink related niches then does IM SEO now come down to buying as many links as you can afford? An where does that leave the average Imer that doesn't have the cash ( or spent it all on profile backlink tools) to get high on page PR backlinks?

Isn't it time to seriously reconsider link building that is so often pushed in this forum?

P.S.
Do a few backlink searches related to profile backlinks and you will see what I mean. The proof is in the pudding and to be fair no one is hiding it not even backlink profile proponents.

I'm talking the average joe here, not trying to topple Wikipedia for the keyword wiki.

Hey yukon thats my point. When you look at the competition you are very likely to see in many niches that the links are in fact paid for (or links you otherwise can't get) and now one of those niches is backlink providers and people involved in IM SEO.

So the only way it helps you is you try and go out and buy backlinks too and the average person in IM doesn't have the coin or can't justify using it for that to their family .
