I have a new niche site that ranks #10 for its keyword. It has only been live for about 2 weeks. The same site was ranking #12 in Yahoo but suddenly for the last few days isn't even in the top 50. I know that its not a huge traffic loss but I'm curious as to why suddenly dropping that far? Any thoughts?

New site ranking oddities are pretty common. Just keep building good back links and don't worry about it too much. I still get weird oddities with a site that has been up for 7 years... but not very often, still it freaks me out sometimes.

From what I have observed, yahoo rank you with the number of posts your made and not the quality. You need to keep on link building and make it a constant work.
