So I started my first niche site. Got to page 1 of Google pretty easy and getting ggod traffic. I have a decent click through rate, but I'm not making much AdSense income per click. Google's Adwords Keyword Tool has an Average Est CPC = $1.87 SpyFu's Cost/Click = $.63-$2.07 Buy when I get a click, I get $.03-$.07/click from AdSense. Is this normal? Is there any way to improve this b4 I convert to all Affilite links? |

try to put high paying keyword in your site description related to your niche , or try out clickbank affiliate program to earn more . Quote:

Part of the reason is probably that click cost on the content network is a lot less than the GAKT shows because those figures are from the search network. Plus you are probably getting broad match-type keywords that are not as targetted to your niche as you might want. It's worth trying what someone already said - optimise the same page to some other potentially high-paying keywords too, without deoptimising for your main keyword, if you see what I mean. You might see some better ads turning up, though there's no telling with Adsense...

Weird, I get the opposite. Nearly all of my search traffic comes from keywords that GAKT says are worth 5 cents. But my average CPC is 20-25 cents and I regularly get $1-$2 clicks as well.
