I have set this up as a test, its not being shown any where. I just want to ask if what I have done is ilegal in the eyes of Google Adsense? I have placed adsense code within a framed pop up, but is this against terms and conditions? PLEASE CLICK THIS LINK: Demonstration Thanks in advance for your help. |

I probably don't have to mention, but... It's okay to have a page with popups, they cannot interfere with navigation or cover adsense. Now you have adsense in frames, which is difficult for google to crawl to display adsense. The "popup" frame, must have a way for users to navigate out of it. It also must be initiated by a positive act by the visitor, that is they wanted to go there. It can't be a forced popup. If it is just a popup window, that popups when a user clicks because they want to see it, and it is a regularly navigated webpage, it may be fine. That is, it has an area to type in a new url, back and forward buttons. But then it would be nothing different that a click on a link that opened a webpage in another window or tab. Okay. I am sure it's not one of those, so I would stop it immediately. Sorry, I am not game for a demonstration. That's a bad idea if it is a live example, complete with adsense. Paul |

Its cool what you did mate but if it were possible to force a popup on someone like that i think we all would do that. Its possible to do it with a cpa offer, cpv marketing (cost per view). |

It is clever but will be a definite ban! Whilst new to this forum I specialise in adsense and would highlight this part of their policy:- "Ad Behavior" AdSense code may not be altered, nor may the standard behavior, targeting or delivery of ads be manipulated in any way that is not explicitly permitted by Google. For instance, clicking Google ads may not result in a new browser window being launched. In opening it in a frame this looks to fall under the "delivery of ads be manipulated" section. Best not to risk a ban - as they tend to ban you just the once with no going back |
