So my most profitable sites were bouncing around GREATLY for a while. I am usually in position 2-4 for a few sites for my main keyword. Well, they have been gone since Christmas- totally off the charts. My hosting provider was at fault for a few crawl errors, however, the below problem stumps me. I log into webmaster tools and see over 100 to 300 crawl errors (explained below) in November. My site has been crawled in January but it still shows November crawl errors. Can this affect my google rank position? Is this why I am not on the front page anymore? Also, can anyone tell me why the following is happening. For example, webmaster tools is showing mywebsite dot com/a has a 404 error. I never made a category for the letter a?! I also have several 404 errors and in the url there is no category. So, instead of mywebsite dot com/shoes/ladies shoes it will show website dot com/ladies shoes when I never made a category ladies show...does that make sense? Hope this makes sense. Be back later. Thanks for any help! |

counselormom: Strange problem. You might cure the crawl problem at https://linklicious.me/MyAccount.aspx which will make sure all your pages or links get crawled. Robert |
