You basically turn your domain over to google.
If you have not actually gone that route and submitted your site
to google, that is exactly what you need to do. After it is approved,
follow their directions for changing the DNS over to them.

If you are trying somehow to jackhammer adsense on a parked domain,
you will get in trouble.

If you have submitted your site and it was approved, it make have been
suspended. Log into your account and find out.

My advie, stop doing adsense for domains because you'll get nothing from it but suspended account when you are tempted to promote. There is no allowed promotion for AFD. Focus on adsense for content.

You can promote domains in adsense. You cannot send paid traffic. Big difference.

I will agree that adsense and domains are not a money maker. People swear by them,
but can't stand getting parked domains when visiting a site.

No, you can't promote a domain displaying nothing but adsense ads.

Site and Ad Behavior Sites showing Google ads should be easy for users to navigate and should not contain excessive pop-ups.
  • Publishers may not use online advertising to drive traffic to pages participating in AdSense for domains.
  • Publishers may not deceptively drive traffic to pages participating in AdSense for domains.
  • Sites participating in AdSense for domains may not be framed or displayed on other sites.
  • Redirects are prohibited. We reserve the right to remove either redirecting or redirected sites from the AdSense for domains network.
  • Sites participating in AdSense for domains may not be placed in pop-ups or pop-unders.
  • Sites participating in AdSense for domains may not contain pop-ups or pop-unders that interfere with site navigation, change user preferences, or initiate downloads
  • Webpages participating in AdSense for domains may not be loaded by any software that can trigger pop-ups, redirect users to unwanted websites, modify browser settings, or otherwise interfere with site navigation. It is your responsibility to ensure that no ad network or affiliate uses such methods to direct traffic to pages that contain your AdSense code.
Meaning, only direct traffic is allowed (people should type the url directly to their browser)

You're kidding right? That would defeat the whole purpose. Nobody would go there.
I guess you forgot this part:

Quote:
Users often type domains into their address bar or follow expired links leading to sites with no content.
That's google's reasoning for using adsense for domains.

Course you can't do anything about it showing in SERPs either, while it gets purged.

In fact, adsense for domains is really geared for domains that are already getting traffic
through various sources. Not just type-in.

I was referring to paid advertising as that's the only advertising I know about.
Free is just backlinks, and as shown above, you can't remove the backlinks.

That's why I said above

Backlinks are backlinks but once his domain is already parked, he is limited to do backlinks... Once google detects that a visitor came from another site, his account is dead..

In short, there's really nothing he can gain from adsense for domains unless he print thousands of flyers and cards and distribute it offline.. LOL
