What does the 301-server response code signify?

The 301 server response code means that the content of the url you typed into the browser has been moved permanently to another url. Therefore, you should type the new url in order to access the information required. Some websites will direct you to the new location automatically while others will not.

301 and 302 are used in robots.text. 301 will be as Permanently and 302 will be as temporarily.
