How to get my forum profiles indexed by google?

I'm trying this on Wordpress.com with about four PR3/4 blog comment backlinks pointing to the page. 12 hours and nothing indexed yet, will check back in again .

I would also like to add another method to my approach.

I would use this method maybe few times a day for great seo results.
You don't need to spam your comment with the link. Just add it in where it says, NAME, EMAIL and Website URL. <<< add your social bookmark pages that you built your backlinks or domains on. This works like a charm

Ok after waiting a few days, 3 out of 100 links indexed and im not sure if this is even from the comments or they would have indexed anyway. I've pinged the comment pages, but this shouldn't matter that much right? Not looking good.

The comments have my keyword as the username pointing to the page with the links, it's not within the comment... any ideas why it isn't working?

It has been a proven model of indexing for most warriors!

Don't worry so much about indexing. Just do the best you can because you've got other things to manage your time with. I'm glad you know that building profile links is important for your site, but don't try to maximize a lot of time on it. Blog commenting is good, but I would also keep that process to the minimum. Maybe post 6-8 blog comments a day. Then move onto other tasks.

That was an excellent tip by Yukon and others.
One question I have though is how do you check if your backlinks have been indexed by Google?

I followed the advice of the previous posts but not sure if links have been indexed or not.

Any ideas?

Paste the URL into G search and see if the URL shows up.

Or search it as "site:URL"

If you're using scrapebox, it can process large lists.
Scrapebox checks G index with "info:URL".





Here's what else DIDN'T work after over 1 week:
1. hundreds of blog comments from unique domains to the profile links
2. thousands of other profile links pointing to the 1st tier
3. bookmarked each profile link at over 20 sites per URL, pinged profiles
4. creating RSS feeds (20/40/100 per feed, mixed with real feeds), submit to aggregators (used to work, but now its 1% index rate which may/may not even be from RSSing), bookmark/ping rss feeds

What DOES work for me:
1. indexing service (not sure what they actually do), but I can't justify high costs for indexing measly profile links.
2. My aged autoblog (it caps out fast, but it's my best bet)
3. Last resort, waiting on a new backlink index express setup to age a bit.. hopefully its rate will improve.

I'm currently looking at a report from Link-Assistant.com and i'm looking at 60 new forum links that were indexed...

What I did was:

1. copied all my post url's to a notepad

2. pasted my url's into LinkLicious.me (pro account)

3. this turns all the posts into feeds and pings them

I can't speak for anyone else, but this is working for me at the moment.

Here is what I do...
I setup the backlinks on a daily basis, and break them in sections
10/day (for my new domains) or 20/day - 40/day (for my domains older than 1 years old)

I get those backlinks, and submit to pingomatic and ping.fm

Then... I'll use one of my web 2.0 properties/blogs and
add a link into my page, pointing to my backlinks page.

After that, I will submit my backlinks and web 2.0 property page onto (20) social bookmarking sites.
Meaning I submit 40 total links.

(20) for my backlinks page, and (20) for my blog/web2.0 pages

Just to sum it up... I take those 40 submissions and I ping them.

Walla... Gets the work done and you actually get backlinks to your backlinks, which creates more value to your links. Let me know if you need help with anything. This method is proven for me. But this guide isn't the complete guide on how my SEO will out perform my competition.

We can discuss that in a later day.

Yea I do something similar to that but for thousands of links at a time.

First of all, it is always needed to choose those forums that are high PR and relevant to our site and then creating profile with all your necessary updates so that fellow posters and crawlers will definitely visit your profile. Also, by delivering valuable and quality content also, you can get effective traffic and thus results in indexing.

you could also take it a step further and submit those rss feeds (rss submit etc..). could also create a twitter acct a fire away.

Hi there this is kind of late I'm glad to have found this thread as it answers the question I had posted last week.

I built a single page on a blogger blogspot blog with about 75 links. It's a brand new one I set up. Does it matter if it's brand new or one that's been around for a while?

Secondly the high PR backlink which I have done - it's a comment on a high PR blog but comments are no-follow there. Does it matter if it's a no-follow or should they be do-follow?

Lastly how long does this process take? I guess an approximation is fine. I'm brand new with this and am trying to learn and gather as much info as possible.

Please let me to understand perfectly what do say because i don't want to get the red flag!
1. Make an HTML page with hipper link to my profiles, nothing else!? Like an article or something? I only have 25-30 profiles that want to be indexed!
2. Put this file on a domain other the one i promote.
3. Going to Delicious or Folkd and make just one bookmark.
4. Then wait 2-3 days to see what happen.

You could submit those forum profiles to social bookmarking sites like Digg and Reddit, the same rules of indexing will apply to them

To get them indexed, you could always social bookmark the links

if you have to do anything to get a backlink indexed, its probably such a useless backlink, its not worth getting in the first place....BUT, please keep advising my competitors to do this
