No problem. I kind of stumbled into it myself with one website. That website had immediate success so I decided to put up a bunch of sites "just to see", and to my surprise, most of them did really well. Even though they are short lived, they are easy enough to rank for and make more than enough money during that time to make it worth my while.

Thanks for the answers. To follow up, if you get most of your traffic from your index page, do you use many different anchor text phrases back to it from articles to article directories, or do you just concentrate on 3-4 to emphasize a few?

Great question Debbie!

I really think it is important to vary up your anchor text in order to make it look natural. I probably use the "main" keywords in about 65% of the anchor texts. Then I will switch it up using relevant keyword combination's.

For example, if the main keywords were santa shower curtains...I might use Christmas shower curtains, holiday shower curtains, shower curtains christmas, etc.

Thanks for the great share however can you kindly share how much your sites are making per day on an individual basis? It's a very unique idea to target seasonal niches but there are some down sides but it is a great open market.

The reason is because you mentioned 1000-3000 Exact Searches. I'm working on my own networks of exact match domains but I was under the impression I need 5000+ Exact Searches for a profitable site on a evergreen search term.

It would be agreat to know how a seasonal product of 1000-3000 is doing. Are you actually making substantially enough to proof their worth even in the peak periods?

I have found that with almost all of my sites, everyone of them earn during the peak times as long as they are in the top 10. So even though the keyword tool might show well under 1000 or even 600 searches per month, get them ranking in the top 10 and you will see at least a dribble of traffic each day when they are peaking. Of course the higher they rank the more traffic you are going to get.

I do research different for evergreen terms, but you can have a profitable site with well under 5,000 exact per month. There are other variables that you need to consider to know whether or not a site is going to be profitable. CPC, CTR, ease of rank...etc.

I get the rankings fast because the niches are smaller than small. Some of them rank on page 1 or 2 as soon as they are indexed. Try out a few and you will see

As early as possible

In all honesty though, using this method 8 weeks is more than enough. Remember though that these are the really low hanging fruits. If you do the research right, your website will likely start out on one of the top 3 pages. Then its all about giving it the momentum it needs to rank in the top few positions during its peak season.

I try to give each website around 21 days straight of linking. Then I kinda just sit back and see which ones actually have a shot of making me money and which ones don't. I do a lot of evaluating and re-evaluating so I know where to best focus my efforts.

Spring is right around the corner...perfect time right now to take action!

You must not be making to much money with adsense. Keyword research is the must important part of this method (all of them are important bty). I hear that all the time, create good content and they will come but sorry it does not work that way.

I only use Wordpress sites. These micro niche sites are all permanent static pages with a themed LSI based article on the front. I usually just do a post and toggle the 'Stick this post to the front page' dealamabob. Simple and effective.
