I have a few ez articles that are anywhere from middle to bottom of the first page in google and they just don't seem to wanna move up. What would be the most recommended way to help push these higher? Should I write more articles and link them back top my main article to give them back link power? |

Write more keyword targeted articles. Google loves fresh content. So, the more fresh content you have, the more spots you occupy in Google search first page.

Any sort of SEO for the articles' url's, just as you'd do for any page of any website, will help to do that, really. (Whether it's really advisable in the long term to be doing backlinking campaigns to send your traffic to EZA's site rather than to your own is, of course, a whole different question). | |

I know people are going to say to backlink them, but before you try that make sure that the other articles are displaying backlinks. At ezinearticles and goarticles they don't, and neither does PR. Haven't got a clue as to improving the articles ranking though, without backlinking I'm lost.

I treat my articles as any other type of website, but first I have to say that I agree with Alexa 100% when she says sending traffic through an article is not the best idea, or that is what I get reading between the lines of her last comment. That being said, because you have chosen to go this way, it would be good to get a few backlinks from some high pr blog comments and some other forms of backlinking. Without knowing the competition you are up against, it is really hard to say exactly what you need to do, but in general the best way to move up the rankings with a static type website such as an article is to show Google that it is popular. What this means in the simplest of terms is pointing backlinks to that article to show Google that people find it useful and it should be further up the rankings. End Note - I have had some good luck with driving an article up in rankings with a linkwheel also. That is for you to decide though. Good Luck. |

You need to build more links to the article to improve the articles' ranking in Google. You need to build more links on your traffic pages, recommending that people view those articles. You need to promote your articles to an audience. Once you can send external traffic to open your articles, you can more quickly climb into EZA's top ten listings for those categories, which will improve the Google placement of the article with inbound links, and drive more traffic to the article from within EZA. Keep in mind, you need more ways for people to find your articles, so that they can view those articles. But don't be tempted to buy traffic for those articles, because that is against the EZA TOS.... If caught buying traffic, you will lose all of your articles on EZA, you will be banned from using their system in the future. |

There are many ways to get backlinks to your site. Social bookmarking, blog commenting, forums, and the one I like the most is building feeder sites.

Share these articles on social bookmarking sites and ask your followers to rank them well. Or you can share these articles on facebook and ask your friends to rank them well. By doing this article can be rank up in google.

Well I think good backlinks push you to higher PR.So firstly collect good backlinks and afterward focus on the keyword targeted articles which seems very freshers on the eye of Google.

Take a look at the sites ranking higher than your article and see if you can score a link back to your article on any of those (i.e a comment or forum). You may also want to open up yahoo site explorer and take a look at the incoming links on each of the sites above you in the rankings and see if you can get some of those links too.
