Hey Warriors, I know there are lots of threads on here, and yet I felt like I should ask. I've been working on a site for about 3 months now. I'm not putting too much efforts yet, but it's currently ranking between 3rd and 4rd page with app. 500 backlinks indexed. I'm pretty sure I can push it to Page 1. I'm doing almost every free method, except video marketing. Now, my main competitor on #1 has about 1000 backlinks, but all of them come from paid directories, authority sites like Wikipedia, About, and Ehow, and of course, from the Home Pages of other niche targeted sites with high PR. Obviously, lots of money has been invested. So here comes the big question. To buy links, or not to buy? Would it be possible that, let's say 15000 links worth more than 1000 quality ones in the eyes of Google? Do I need to scale up the bulk link building process, or should I splash the cash in order to get more targeted and quality backlinks? Thanks in advance. |

Buy about 10,000 profile links. Get a link wheel started...get some press releases going, and then re-evaluate.

You really left out the important facts, how much traffic does the keyword get and is it a purchasing keyword and if so how much do you stand to make. One of the easist ways to find this information out, is buy putting a test campaign of $30-50 in adwords and seeing your conversion ratio and also the accurate daily search volume of a particular keyword. |
