Hi there, so I have somehow managed to get a link to my page from pa high PR (Pr5) page with over 160k IC and millions of backlinks to it. My site is in the footer as "related pages". It got there perfectly legal. The question I have is what will happen now, due to the fact I am recieving thousands of backlinks from this domain ( new content as well as old posts ) all the way from n/a to PR5 ... I previously only had 30 backlinks to my site. I have checked if Matt Cutts had anything to say on googlewebmasterhelp, and he said "if you cannot control where your backlinks are coming from, we will not penalize you for them" ... I sort of think of it this way -> If this would in anyway penalize me, I would to the exact same thing to my competition and just "zappp" them and walk to the top... Your predictions.... Sincerely, Buyseech P.s.: I will continue to recieve backlinks, cause the site gets dozens of pages of fresh content daily ( news, gossip etc.) |

I would think it would add value. Many people get hundreds of links per day additionally they won't be index immediately as well although since it's all on the smae site there is a high likely hood it will be index fast but I've done very well with sitewide links in the past so I don't see why you would be in any trouble. It's actually not as easy as people say to get sandbox. Sandbox does exist but there is a lot of myths as well. I use to think I couldn't build more than 100 links/day boy was I wrong! |

Buyseech... This is absolutely great! In my opinion, it will certainly help in terms of your search result ranking since you've got multiple backlinks from PR5 site through footer of the each pages...And I'm pretty sure that there will no penalty for it as it's pretty natural in the eyes of search engines as the multiple links are from footer...It's the same scenario when you get your article listed in "most Viewed" on Ezinearticles... Please let us know the update...
