Well i think their is no effect of signature whether you used simple signature or animation signature.

Yes it will help i getting more back-links because it will stand out more, but the key benefit is that search engines will pickup on these because when they are bolded and under italic font, the search engines can pickup on the importance of these words. Another strategy is to work with h1-h6 tags because this represents importance to a search engine as well. No, colored effects are only to attract users and visitors. Just normal text with a link to it will produce backlinks

Formatting your signatures is not only appealing on the eyes, but Google has been known to put more weighting on backlinks that have formatted anchor text.

This is because if it is meant to stand out to the reader then it should stand out as an important point for Google.

When Google comes across tags such as <b><u><i><font><color><h1><h2><h3> etc (and the BBCode alternatives) it puts more emphasis on the rankings, but don't overuse it!

I don't think that readers clicked on sig by being attract by the color or font. Signature link has its own value but color and font doesn't matter at all ecept improving the visibility by being focused. But the presentation bears the quality of sig holder.

I think keyword used in H1 tag might be helpful at some extent, but don't think so about color & style.
