Ummmmm.... I'm not creating this site/advertising it for monetary purposes - right now - the reason I'm advertising it is to build up traffic and experiment with my $100 adwords voucher....

I still don't understand why it keeps getting "disapproved" can someone clarify for me?

Hi,

Are you sure that it is not disapproving you because it is a health ad and they follow some different rules compared to other campaigns. Just contact them and have them tell you the exact problem. I can tell you that many products related to weight or health always have a harder time getting approved. I guess more risk. Contact Them!!!

If you are advertising an affiliate site, you can hang it up. Forget it. It's not going to happen. They are all slowly but surely being picked off and your scenario is now the norm.

Unless you're a big, well known, name brand in weight loss, forget about using Adwords.

Not only is weight loss a google alarm bell ringer, it is a very, very expensive
word.

I think the rules are , you need a real product offering just normal or
"basic" weight loss results. You don't have a product, and your articles
are adsense-good-enough, but they don't really have much substance.

Maybe the word "hottest" is a red flag as well.

If you came up with your own complete healthy weight loss program, you
may have a shot.

You could change your ad for healthier living or something, but then the
"weight loss" site may not pass muster.

Possibly, but this thread is about Adwords, not Adsense.

The question was in relation to the fact that she has adsense all over the site.
She is using adsense to monetize, and putting the site on adwords.

That is a classic definition of "arbitrage." That is, in effect, what she is
doing.

Nothing bad about it, except it is a lose-lose proposition.

Many adsense users are sent a free adwords coupon. But having a top
adsense site does not translate well to an adwords site.

Apparently your not allowed to use Adwords to solely drive traffic to your site - you have to be an encommerence site.... That's what the google help staff told me at least.

Seems like kind of a silly response from Google.

I've had some problems with using those free $100 credits they send out. Three of my clients AdWords accounts were suspended. The only thing we did differently was apply the AdWords credit. Fortunately, the suspensions were only temporary, and I never really had any clear response from Google. I think they are watching those $100 offers carefully.
