Default Do the keyword in a domain have to be in order?

This is a stupid example but let's say I'm trying to rank for "dog collars" and my domain is "collarsdog.com" - does it matter that the keywords are out of order?

From what i know, the only think that it matters, are the keywords and the backlinks. So my answer is no, it doesn't matter if the keywords are out of order

It does if you are trying to rank for the exact term dog collar. However if your goal was to get on for the broad term dog collar you should have no problem because both of the words are there and google really doesnt care much about the order for the broad searchs but it does care with the exact search term.

Just an example one of my sites gardensolar is numbe 1 for the term garden solar as you would expect. However I am also on page 4 for the broad term solar garden and I am also on the same page for the exact term. But I did do alot of linking for that term from the start. It just takes longer and alot more work to rank for the exact term then it would if you where targeting the exact term as your domain. hope this helps
