How can I know the exact number and links that brings traffic to my website, after I outsourced the link building task?

There is no magic number of links that will bring traffic to your site.

you said that will 'brings traffic to my website', traffic can be 5 visitors a month

I think you mean long term steady traffic, and lots of it.

The best stategy is to do backlinking from a variety of sources, from

-article directories (sig link)
-one way links
-reciprical links
-paid links of high PR sites

so you have mixed it all up.

Make sure you use your keyword in your 'anchor text'

Google lets you sell all links to a particular page, the syntax is evading me though...

Articles are a great way to get backlinks, not to mention the traffic from the articles themselves. Some article sites have good PR and will give you quality backlinks to push your site up.
