What am i doing wrong?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some input on this.

I have been using backlink packets since May 2010 and have devoted probably 90% of the links to just one site and I am still no where near page one for a keyword phrase that has about 1 million global searches/month. I have read on the forum here that there are a lot of folks using the same packets I am and they are dominating google for their keywords that are a lot more competitive than mine.

I also use SEOpressor to help with on-page SEO.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong.

Thanks in advance for any input you all might be able to offer.

Using manually built link packets without working to index them is a lot like trying to eat rice one grain at a time.

You'll eventually satisfy your hunger, but eventually is a long distance away.

Anyways, if you want my advice, start automating the link building process for forum profiles.

In addition, get a link boosting software to make sure that these links actually count. Otherwise you are just throwing paper airplanes in a sand storm.

Burk, a lot of factors are at play here and they can be dependent on the keywords you are targeting as well as the niche. Get links from other sources ( not all backlink packets ) and start a new project. You will find that once you do this one will obviously offer you a path of least resistance which you can then ramp up the promotion work on. Make sense?

If you are looking for a good indexing software I suggest Backlink Energizer.

It's cheap and very powerful, but it can take a little time to set up, although the service and tutorials are great!

I'm not sure what you are doing wrong but I just went through a course and it helped me get my site on page one. I'd be happy to give you the course I tried. I believe I only paid $47.00 and there is no charges after that. It's with Sara Young and she is very clear on how to use keywords to our advantage.

the backlink packets do work but a lot just get deleted almost straight away, which is a bummer

I went to the site for the Backlink Energizer, looks promising. I will read more on it tonight and possibly purchase. If I do pick it up I'll give a review here on the forum
