The title says it all. Is there any value to a back link from within a Tweet? What say the experts?

Are you referring to tweeting your websites link in tweets for backlinks??
or are you referring to tweeting your backlinks for more backlinks??

Twitter is a good tool to connect and network with others to share views. You can create your interesting profile that links to your website, you can put RSS feed url also in that.

If I got you right, you ask about links in Twitter to your sites?
Then, the value of them in the meaning of linkweight is zero.
However, the value of them in the meaning of quick indexing - is huge.

Thanks Mike. I figure there is *some* value in that they may attract some new traffic, and I understand the quick indexing comment, but what is the reason they have no link weight?

And I may add, as you build your twitter profile, tweets, followers, possible message content, you build your twitter profile PR, which links back to your website (I hope) which matters.
