How much would 1,000 legit backlinks cost me?

Don't have time to do this my self. I see a lot of warriors advertising, but they seem a little ridiculous, like 10,000 for $50. I'm not looking for any high ranking pr, 0-1 is fine as long as it's indexed

I'd stay away from someone who's offering 10k backlinks for $50... That's hella cheap... That means that person is probably just using an Automated tool to blast blog comments...

In New York City, they cost like $5+, but here in Nebraska you can get one for $1-$2.

Depending on the PR, and TYPE of backlinks, you are looking at a much varied price range.

1,000 PR0-PR1 - you'd be looking at $10-$20 I'd assume. (Good backlinks - profiles, articles, bookmarking, etc)

1,000 PR4+ - $100+ (Depending what kind of quality you fire)

As for the topic, you'll see lots of huge numbers nowadays. Lots of people doing that and its basically killing off lots of forums lol.

Just set a budget, then consider 3 things.
1. Hire someone and let them do backlinking stuff for a month. Training will be tricky if you aren't sure on what to do
2. Open multiple threads on the Warriors for hire area. Check their prices and work. Then compile a list of services to use. If it's within the budget and gives you results, then you just found what you need.
3. Hire someone on elance, odesk, microworkers etc and make them work and usually, they know what to do....unless you have specific instructions

Don't just count the numbers. Quality matters and not quantity.

The market is full of people who can offer you irrevelant and bad links at a cheap price but that won't help your site.Stay away from those people.Instead getting a relevant high pr backlink to your site in a week is much more beneficial that getting thousands of irrelevant links.

The links aren't indexed, you are paying just for the links. You then have to do the hard part of getting them indexed. Which for lets say 6000 backlinks you looking at another $60-100 for a indexing solution that will start to get them indexed over say a 2 month time.
