Default I am Confused as Hell Over Getting Links Indexed.

Ugh

I am so sorry to bug you'all.. but I am very confused about getting newly created links indexed.

There are so many ways to do it -- some say to take all links and make into RSS feeds and then ping the feeds.

Others say do that but put it onto a high PR site or a site with a high PR site pointing at it.

Others suggest sophisticated software that costs a lot of money.

All seem tedious to me.

Why wouldn't one just cut and paste the list of the new links to here: PingDevice

?

Also, if I do choose RSS and pinging the RSS -- how many can I bundle into the RSS feeds? Does it matter? Can I do 1000?

Thanks

PS -- Also, does pinging ever leave trails that big G might not like so much?

20-30 links per rss feed is recommended. A lot of people seem to have trouble with the link indexing, and it is very important. I'm working on an ebook about this right now.

There are several different approaches, and all of them seem to work. Some are more time consuming than others.

Pinging them all doesn't really work very well. You might get 5-10% indexed like that.

The reason most people suggest the RSS feeds is that they are free and usually 70-80% effective if you do it right (a bunch of small feeds).

I follow these steps, and get at least 90% of my links indexed every time.

1. Create RSS Feed from created Backlinks on Html2Rss.com,
2. Then Create Feedburner Feed from Html2Rss.com Feed, you created from html2rss.com
3. Then submit that feed to

FeedListing
FeedAgg.com | The Best Blogs and RSS Feeds on the Web | RSS Directory
Feedgy - Submit your RSS Feed to the RSS Directory
Blog and Ping Tool - Use Pingler.com to Drive Traffic your Blogs and Websites
Ping-o-Matic!

Something else to note: the spammier the backlinks, the harder it is to convince google to index them. Profiles (especially on PR0 sites) are normally the worst as there is no content on the page other than your link. Google isn't a big fan of this.

Articles and sites like squidoo, hubpages, and wordpress are infinitely easier to index because there is perceived value in the content for google.

The easiest way to get you link indexed (for me) is to put the link in my WF signature. Most of the times it gets indexed within hours.

I posted this a while back... Hopefully you get the idea.

Quote:
Copy and past ALL the URLs that you've built backlinks on (articles, blog comments, whatever). You should turn this into habit. I have several .txt files saved and have more than 8k URLs in them. After a day of backlink building I will meta index, ping, and turn the URLs my backlinks are on into RSS Feeds and submit to a handful of aggregators.

I've had some pretty good luck with getting majority of my backlinks indexed this way. I think the Meta Indexing really helps. SEO Fast Indexer (available in the War Room (mentioned before)) is a great tool for doing this. I usually Meta Index to 500 sites for each URL... Someone's search engine bot is BOUND to stumble across these and re-crawl that site finding my backlink!!

Links 2 RSS - Convert a list of URLs to RSS feeds

I usually only add 75-100 links to a feed.

i got few ideas after reading this. To get links indexed, we will need to do it in small scale and we are much sure the links will get indexed. Yah, it is nice and i see that i am doing bunch of senuke profile links a week ago and only two profiles got indexed eventhoug i spam those profile links with 2k scrapebox.

one more thing i love the idea, is we put our links in our sign in this gem forums but what should we do after it indexed? Do we need to remove the links from sign and insert another new links?
