How Are Your Exact Match Keyword Domains Performing?

I was just curious how others with a lot of new exact match keyword domains are doing of late. I realize it's sort of wide open question, as there are many factors such as thin vs content rich sites, niche competition, etc, so let me to narrow it down...Thin sites, with exact match domains, in low to medium competition markets.

My results have been good for low traffic sites (600 local searches and below), i.e. they steadily hold their top rankings. But when a new site gets too much traffic right out of the gate, I find that it's just a matter of time before it hits the sandbox or just drops out of the serps for some time. This is without any aggressive linking going on. Granted it could all be unrelated, but was just wondering if others have noticed any patterns.
