Post Affiliate website not showing up in Google

I created a website with a cloaking script something like this:

<html>
<head>
<title>My Affiliate Site</title>

<script>document.write(unescape("%3c%68%7... etc."))</script>

</head>
<body>
</body>
</html>
This script embedded my affiliate link and directed to the real site.

That's all it had in it. Then, I named the site like MyAffiliateSiteDOTnet. The real site was the same except with ".com" at the end. I eventually was going to put a landing page there instead of just that script. Until I had it prepared, I thought that I would put the script there so if anyone happened to use the .net ending, I would get the affiliate commission. Anyway, I was distracted after I did that, so I had this .net site up a whole week. My site name and the title had the site name in it as shown above. The real site also did the same thing, but obviously didn't have that script.
So, my question is this: After a whole week, why does not my site appear in ANY Google search results? I did a generic search using the title phrase and I tried with the website address minus the ".net" or the "www". I also tried putting that in quotes AND using the allintitle: search option. I looked through ALL the search results and it NEVER showed. I know very little about SEO and I wasn't even trying for this, but I thought I would just check and see. I thought my site should at least be at the end of the search results, but - - nothing. Does Google ignore sites with just a few tags and a script? Or do they flat ignore a .net site of the same name as a ".com"? I am just trying to learn. Thanks for any help.

Are you "forwarding" this domain name, yet you created a page so that they hit the page first and THEN go to your affiliate site? If that is what you are doing, you have to have some sort of meta tags on it such as the title of the page, a description and definitely some keywords. It's kind of like if you ask someone to come to your house and they have never been there before and you did not provide a map for them. It may be pretty hard for them to find you, right? If you are using this "landing page" method, it's a good idea to create a site map, too and get it submitted to Google. (its free). Make sure you are targeting your keywords right. (If you want a free lesson on keywords, you can get the first lesson free from my website-see link in signature). Hope that helps you out.

Thank you for this response. You are right. I am "forwarding" it to the .com site and as in my script above, it didn't have any meta tags, but it did have the title line in it and I would have thought this (combined with the fact that the domain name is those keywords) would be enough to put it at the bottom (not top) of the Google results. I guess this is not the case. I am just trying to learn. Thank you.

Simple... google cannot identify what's your site all about so it is difficult to show targetted ads.. most probably you sill get public ads..

It is because it doesn't have enough back link.

Hi duanecwilson,

If you are using Javascript to redirect visitors to the affiliatesite and your page has no content, Google will never index this page. The Googlebot ignores your Javascript and all it sees is a blank page.

Add some content if you want Google to index your page.

Thank you. I did not know that Google ignored the javascript and looked at it as a blank page. That explains everything. I wasn't planning on leaving it blank, anyway.
