Interesting Yahoo Backlink Phenomena

Hi guys. First of all this is my site - Best GPS System for Cars.

If you use yahoo explorer - Site Explorer - Search Results - you can see my backlinks to the site.. Well does anyone mind explaining to me why I saw about 200 plus links from this one site agaudi.wordpress.com? I commented on one of their blog entries and next thing I know, I have all these links from them ranging from PR 0 to PR 3.

Anyone wanna explain?

I googled your KW you posted and could not find your site. But 99% you got put on the blog roll of his site and now each page is giving you a link with the home page being the high pr one most likely.

Ok now your site links shows in the forum. before it did not.
Looks like you made it into a category and your link is on every page in that category.
Earlier I was just supposing because I couldn't see your site, but now your link is live, so I got it.

Patrick is right. I had this happen to a brand spankin new site once. Within the first week of the domains creation and existence I started building backlinks (of course).

I got over 2k backlinks from ONE BLOG in 2-weeks. The guy had that plugin that showed either new comments or related posts or something like that in his sidebar.... The Blog had over 3500 pages indexed in Google. So when his blog pages got re-crawled and the BOTS saw my backlink... They gave it to me!

Bad thing is they eventually start to fall off - Some quickly, some slowly. The same thing will happen to you too. I started building backlinks like a banshee to replace what was going to be lost LOL!

No worries... The SE's will straighten themselves out and... THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS BUILDING BACKLINKS TOO FAST! So don't worry about it If anything, hopefully it gives you a headstart or boost in the SERPs!

It's both good and bad. For a new blog it can give you the boost you may be in need of... You know... Hit the ground running!!!

But eventually MAJORITY of those backlinks you're getting right now WILL fall off. So keep building to replace what you're about to lose!!
