Hi there, I wonder if anyone had the same question before Let's say I'm optimizing a domain / site for a keyword. Let's take "birthday gift". would it be better to optimize for "birthday gifts" or "birthday gift" (no -s)? "gift" is contained within "gifts", but not vice versa.. but will google "see" this? Or do I need to optimize one page for "birthday gift" and one for "birthday gifts" within my website? It would be interesting how google works here. |

I would imagine you have picked out the keywords before registering the domain - I think that's why you don't see this question a lot. Which one would be easier to rank for? Would that way also be the most relevant? |

Most times when you search Google keyword tool, you'll see that the plural has higher traffic.
