Hello everyone. I was just wondering if anyone would mind sharing a bit of techniques to find good keywords that have high searches but lower competition. I have both market samurai and micro niche finder here so I am trying to put them to good use. I am trying to find keywords that get about 2000-5000 searches per month exact to build adsense sites around. I havent had much luck yet though in finding anything and even with the software I have it still seems like it is taking quite a while to find keywords. Maybe I am just overthinking it though. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

It is possible that you are over thinking, but it might also be that you are putting in too narrow a keyword to start with. If you use a broader keyword phrase, perhaps you might find some keywords that will work for you. For instance, you could try something like "horse" instead of "western riding tack" That is just an example I made up, but try broader keywords. I have both aand I have never not found keywords starting that way. |

I use other websites online to find keyword ideas. Specifically I have been using TradeKey.com over the last year with much success. This website literally lists out products in alphabetical order. All you have to do is plug them into Googles Free Keyword Tool to see how much they are getting searched. Even if the keywords I look up aren't getting as much searches as I'd like, there are always other relevant keywords that Google shows that will work. Also, you might be better off in lowering your criteria for searches per month. You can make decent money by finding terms of 1,000 or less. If all else fails with finding micro niches to go after with adsense, try expanding to a larger niche and use a website that tackles a full gambit of keywords. Larger websites with more content have a knack of picking up traffic for random search queries that you may never pick up when promoting a website with just a few pages. It might take more time and work, but the outcome will likely be better and you will have an established website that has a better chance of earning long term. |
