Can you tell me on which basis Google provides Page Rank? And, how can I increase page rank for the web site?

Page Rank concept is based on the ratio of the number of links coming into your site and also the number of links from your site going out to the web. It is not just backlinks alone that count. Assume Pagerank to be like a pie. It is not infinite. If you want to increase your pagerank, increase your virtual real estate aka the number of pages on your site with useful content. The more you own, the stronger you will get over time. The strongest authority sites on the web today are sites with hundreds of thousands of pages (current and archived). Useful content will make your site link worthy and there will be no dearth of backlinks to your site. Best Raviv |

Get quality backlinks with high PR, you need to do variations of link building. Not just through guest blog posting.

My own experience, the number of visits to sites that do not interact with PR. page content and back links make up your PR.
