Submitted 1 comment on a blog, but getting 30+ backlinks from site

I'm going to do my best in explaining what is going on, but it's hard to describe, so I apologize in advance.

I was using scrapebox the other night and found a pretty decent blog to comment on. I manually visited the site and left my comment with keyword anchor..clicked submit and moved to the next blog...no big deal.

Today I checked my site in MS and noticed I had over 30 links from this particular site. Not sure what was going on, I visited the site and noticed that I was apparently the last to comment on the site, and my original comment was still in the comment form as though I did not hit submit. This is the case for every post on this particular site.

If I scroll down the page and if the post/page has comments open, my origninal comment is still populating the comment form. Because of this, I'm receiving a link on every page/post for this particular Wordpress site.

Has anyone ever experienced this?

What you are seeing in the comment box are the text from the Cache of your browser(even after you have submitted your comment). And which site did you use to validate that you received so many back links? If your comment gets approved by the owner you will get a back link from that site. Nothing more.

I had that too..you can check my thread question. It's something to do with 'commentluv' plugin and also 'Recent Comments' on that website that is replicated on each of the new page of that blog hence your comments/link also get replicated.

Often with blog comments your comment will be shown on a recent comments section in the sidebar of a blog which then can be seen on all the pages.

Sometimes 1 blog comment can = 500 backlinks because it goes through every page of the side on the sidebar until other people comment and the sidebar changes.

The link will be given initially but then as other people comment and your comments goes you will end up with the original 1 link that you left on the blog comment

I also got around 130 backlinks from one site. That blog had "recent comments" on every page

I also encountered that on my other sites...it went from less than 10 to 1000++ in a span of a week just from a single website backlinks..and now my website is gone from serp..although i can still see my pages by using 'site:...' I'm worried if it's getting sandboxed..another thing is..i didn't remember ever performing any blog commenting on that perticular website and it's a nofollow website...hmmm..what should i do..it went from page 15-17-19..then *poof*!

I also experienced the same thing. Didn't occur to me that it could be the Recent Comments that's displayed on every screen. So it's just a temporary surge.. Thanks.
