Quality back links with Squidoo - What is your opinion???

A good linking strategy for blog SEO is to link web 2 sites like squidoo to your blog. Sounds simple.

So you go and open a squidoo account and start a lens. How do you the actual linking??? Well this is my take on how using modules.

-add a few text modules with your blog link in anchor text at the end of each
-link list with your blog as one of the links
-no more ideas

How else should you use Squidoo to create quality back links to your blog?

You can use the rss module to plug in one of your blogs so you aren't crowding up your article with multiple links.

In order for you to get links, you can:

add a text link in text modules.
hyperlink an image in the text modules.
hyperlink a large image in the big picture module.
and other various ways.

You are only allowed 9 from the same domain.

They changed the rules as well to combat spam.
You need to fill and add modules, be sure 200 characters
are used in the intro.

To get around the 9 max links, you can add rss feed from blogs
and twitters, but those are script rss feeds and the backlinks don't
show to search engines.

Squidoo is golden. For links, traffic, and extra income. Imagine,
getting backlinks and traffic, and getting paid for it.

now i have a question about link building from these web 2.0 sites like squidoo. If i do backlinking by creating multiple squidoos, aren't these backlinks going to be weak since they are all from the same IP address?

@birdfood: You can put a link to your site in your Squidoo profile.

@ronsang90: I would look at all these lenses created on squidoo as being from a powerful domain of high authority. When you have other related lenses referencing yours and you referencing others lenses which have been around for quite some time, you are building a powerful network on a high authority domain.

i ever tried to use squidoo lens before but i got no luck cuz i cant even publish one post. Is that everyone face it too? I use game niche in building and dey said not allow. is that only because of my game niche problem?

i don't think squidoo actually helps in getting traffic or something... If it really does, do lemme know, also the procedure, I'll definitely do it..!!

Friends, I created a squidoo lens and a hub page.. I targeted two keywords in both..after i created the pages i backlinked them from various forums and blogs..the same keywords pointing to my squidoo and hub pages..and thats it my lens and hub were on the first page in a week and within two weeks i could see my site on the first page too..
