Hello, I have acquired a domain consisting of two keywords that according to Google Adwords, get 550,000 Global Searches and 110,000 Local Searches each month. For example (just an example) if the domain was newcar.com the results google is giving me is like the above for "newcar" and if I put in "new car" (with the words separately) the results are 6,120,000 Global and 1,500,000 local searches. So what does all of that mean to me? Seems like with that kind of monthly searches I ought to be able to capitalize a bit. Google also shows the competition as low. The domain is currently parked. What should I do with it in your opinion? Or am I miss reading the results? Thanks for your input! |

Hi webmason, I am not sure of your question. From the way I comprehend it, just having a hot domain name will not cut much ice. Those numbers that you have there show the search count. What about the competitiion? That is also important. You have to do solid work on the site first by building quality content. Once the site is optimized, then you have to do off page optimization which is building backlinks to your site. A good domain name is useful especially if it is short and if it contains a part of the keyword or the keyword itself. But that is not the be all end all of a successful site. Hard work is the magic wand that will make your wishes come true ![]() Best Raviv |

Hi Raviv, Thanks, that makes a lot of sense. Guess now it's time to get to work! Tom |
